Keith McIntyre – ‘wee timorous beasties’: March 11th – 30th

Friday 11th March 2011 6 - 8pm will feature the opening of: ‘Keith McIntyre’ @ Moving Gallery, 67B Westgate Road, NE1 1SG

Moving Gallery would like to invite you to 'wee timorous beasties,' a solo show by Newcastle based artist Keith McIntyre.

'wee timorous beasties' draw inspiration from Burn's poem 'tae a mouse' but are in effect a tragi-comedy about evolution and extinction. Scottish artist Keith McIntyre's prints explore synergies across a number of disciplines. Photo-polymer gravures are generated through drawing, improvised performance, photography and printmaking practices. McIntyre is Director of GSN at Northumbria University.

This is one of the last exhibitions the Moving Gallery team will be showing on Westgate road, and we are looking forward to hopefully seeing you there.

The preview will be on Friday the 11th March, 6-8pm. The show will run from the 12th to the 30th of March

67B Westgate road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1SG.

There will be an after party after the preview at Barkollo, 22 Leazes park road, NE1 4PG.

The show by David Jesse Teager-Portman has been postponed to later on in the year.
